What is Vanishing Point Productions?
A vanishing point is defined as the point in linear perspective at which all imaginary lines of perspective converge.
When Vanishing Point Productions was founded in the fall of 2004, our goals were simple: we wanted to offer our clients cost effective, friendly, services while still providing a professional product. We were formed by local area musicians looking for a way to personalize recording for local bands and musicians while also extending our network into the professional Washington, DC metro area with web site services and Podcasting.
We are not a traditional recording studio per say. We are best equipped to accommodate home and studio project recordings. Our Tyson's Corner, VA location is perfect for full band recordings while our Arlington, VA location is perfect for tracking or non-percussive recordings. But don't be fooled by our size, we supply our clients with top grade audio products that sound larger-than-life.
Who is Vanishing Point Productions?
Vanishing Point Productions was formed by lifelong friends Steve Rubin (bio) and Rob Salerno (bio). After listening, playing, and discussing music for many years, we decided it was time to take our love of the art one step further and delve into the creative worlds of digital recording and web development. We took a modest budget and decided to buy the top-of-the-line gear to achieve what we like to call "personalized recording" in a project studio environment.
After spending numerous hours (and dollar$) in conventional recording studios, with engineers that sucked the creative life out of the project, we figured it was time to try and bring the DC area a fresh approach to recording. With mobile capabilities we are able to record artists in their environment, which leads to a more relaxed atmosphere, which usually leads to an overall better product and experience for everyone involved.
Vanishing Point Productions will guarantee that we give every project we work on, no matter how large or small, our dedication and 100% attention.
